On the Galis not being better than Dirk, like I said, it's a matter of different viewpoints in my opinion. I just don't agree the basic idea of if a player isn't/wasn't in the NBA or if he hasn't proved himself in the NBA, then he's not good or can't be good as much as the ones in the NBA are. Same thing with Diamantidis for instance, only a few euro-people would select Nash over Diamantidis, I know it probably sounds ridiculous or irrational to you, but that's almost a fact for us, The Octopus>Nash.

We will just agree to disagree, but I believe the best players play in the NBA, the only exception was during the Soviet times when players from the Soviet Bloc were not allowed to play in the NBA because it voided their "amateur" status and made them ineligible to play for their country in the Olympics.
 
ECTYA, I think it is time to update your list. I feel like I have made a strong case as to why I should move up!

Not sure what you're implying here, orange. UGLI's mum just grades my kids homework sometimes and she made a couple errors .. And didn't like being corrected..

Not sure you're casting her in a positive light with these things you're clearly insinuating.

I have to inform you guys, if UGLI doesn't make his pick asap, you'll have to wait for me then. I'm going to go out in a hour and probably won't be back for the day. That means I'll be back tomorrow evening(24 hours) at best. Or I just will have to miss my pick.
