I want you all to know that even though I give Franklin s**t for reading vampire books, at least he's reading. And that's awesome.

I'm also pretty impressed this has made it to page 24.

The books I've read in the last 13 years(since graduating high school)

Harry Potter (yeah yeah)
The Gunslinger series
From David Gemmell(https://gemmellaward.com/page/david-gemmell-chronological-order), The Drenai saga, the Rigante Quartet, and the Troy Trilogy
Mein Kampf(You gotta be in the mind to understand it)
The wheel of time series(Robert Jordan did great, Brandon Sanderson at least filled the shoes Jordan left)
Up to date on the Game of Thrones books(those last two were hard to get through.. hope the next one is better)
 
The Wheel of Time Series (best fantasy series of all time imo. Very long read. 14 Books (15 if you include the stand alone prequel) that total 11,916 pages and 4,410,036 words. (totals include the prequel book).

I also like some of Harry Turtlebaums work. ALternate relaity stuff. One series is the south won the civil war and how that affects all the history after that. Another is that right during the hight of WW2 earth is invaded by aliens. And how that affects history going thru the space race and current times.

I like to read 4 books at a time always. Switch every 30 pages or so. keep things fresh. My mind seems to like that better than just plowing straight through 1 book. I'm reading currently:

The third one is right up my alley. I'm surprised to see someone writing on it this early on though.

If you're audible.com'in it, it's worth it. There's two readers, a chick and a dude. The chick reader is kind of obnoxious at times, and gets pronunciations wrong, but the guy's voice along with the subject(fantasy) of the book is the best pairing outside of George Guidell and the first Gunslinger.

And yeah HH, Audible is da spit. I got it on my phone and listen to stories when I'm in bed, or on the road, or when I manage to make it to the Gym. Sign up and you get an account and you pick a book. If you don't cancel, it's $15 a month and you get 1 credit every month(which is one book a month). Even if you cancel, you just remember your account username/password and you can download it to a device of your choosing at any time.

I've really never had any trouble with it at all.
 
Hate wheel of time series..... made 75% through the 6th book and could not take any more.

Game of throne was great (and I still love it) but roach is right about books 4 and 5..... they are a struggle to get through

Go back and pick up where you left off. The last two books were pretty great.
