Kind of a weird trade... Surely the Lakers pick will be better than the Suns next year, probably in 2017 as well...

I just realized that the Lakers 2016 pick is traded to... whoever holds its rights right now. So the trade would have to be for 2017 only. Still good trade in my books. In 2016-2017 the Lakers will be Kobe-less and will have a ton of money to spend.
