I'm going to make a poll every 2 days for each draft pick. Jazzfanz will vote for which pick they THINK the teams will pick, not who they think should be picked. At the end we can compare our mock to professional mocks.

*Originally said every 2 days, but the draft is in about 30 ish days, so we will go faster when the outcome is super clear (like Towns leading by 27 votes).*

Draft Order:

1. T'Wolves - Karl Anthony Towns
2. Lakers
3. Sixers
4. Knicks
5. Magic
6. Kings
7. Nuggets
8. Pistons
9. Hornets
10. Heat
11. Pacers
12. Jazz
13. Suns
14. Thunder
15. Hawks
16. Celtics
17. Bucks
18. Rockets
19. Wizards
20. Raptors
21. Mavs
22. Bulls
23. Blazers
24. Cavs
25. Grizzlies
26. Spurs
27. Lakers
28. Celtics
29. Nets
30. Warriors

Would also be cool to see who picked who for each pick and if anyone gets the order just right.

Okafor for #2

Byron Scott is old-school, Kobe is old-school, Okafor has an old school kind of game. I think there will be a lot of big people in LA campaigning for Okafor.

I still think they trade it to OKC for Westbrook.

But if not... bigs are notorious for developing slow, and lakers are noted for not waiting. Mudiay or Russell.

Okafor/Randle combo could be pretty bad on the defensive end. Spacing could be an issue, too. But they'll be brutally physical down low. It'll be interesting to see how chemistry develops.

Scott won't be around long enough for it to matter, and if they have any brain at all, Kobe won't factor in to who they pick, either. It could easily be Okafor, but I'm gonna go along with b-line and pick Russell.

I hadn't thought of this. That would be crazy to watch okc and LA after that trade. Interesting for both teams.

Durrant's health is kind of a question mark right now, not to mention he could bolt in FA after next year. They probably won't trade either one, but if they're smart, Durrant is the one they should consider trading. That may sound crazy, but I really believe he's out the door after next year.

Picked Russell, not really sure why, just not sold on Okafor, Kobe wants to play mentor or something maybe. No great logic, gut feeling.

I absolutely agree, except that I think OKC believes they would rather build around Durrant and can somehow persuade him to stay. And of the two I think Durrant is more likely to stay.

I expect LAL to go hard after Westbrook. If he is available or not. He has showtime, he is made for LAL. Durrant-eh not so much.
