He is a less talented Trey Burke who knows his place in the NBA and is a better shooter and defender.

I like it. I've endorsed this guy since he was in college. He's a lane-clogging center who plays good defense. Also, I think he's more athletic than he's given credit for.

Agree with this. Have never liked Cooley. Never got the experiment neither. Just doesn't look like an NBA player. Good guy and all but.. sorry.

He does have a lot of fight though.. works hard and has a cool girldlfriend... she's an architect if I remember correctly.

Cy already said it, but, BROUGH! it's freaking clear that Cooley has one obvious NBA skill. It's rebounding. The problem is that he doesn't really have another NBA skill. If you don't think he's obviously a rebounder, then I don't know what game you've been watching.

Bob Huggins raved about his rim protection in college for what that's worth.

Maybe if Pleiss is really meh in camp, they keep Withey to compete for minutes with Pleiss.
