Nene had an ACL tear in 2005. Since then, he has had career numbers in every single category except steals (which he isn't known for anyway).

Im guessing we will run a physical on him before we finalize the trade, correct? Im sure if our doctors see anything that is of major concern, we will call it off.

There are other examples of people who had career year after ACL: Al Harrington, Baron Davis, Tony Allen. Look, of course there is a risk/concern associated with it. And of course the injury contributed to his decline last year, since he came back just 8 months after injury. But that's why we are able to get him just for 2 non lotto picks. Do you think if he never was injured and was averaging 23-11 like he did before he got injured Wolves would trade him for these lowly picks? There are great signs though that the injury is the thing of the past and he fully recovered, like the aforementioned guys. He should be back to full strength next year and will actually be able to spend off-season improving his game rather than rehabilitating. I think next year we will have healthy 23-11 guy what Wolves had 2 years ago. He may not get 23-11 next to Millsap, who I hope will be a beast also, but at 25 Al's best years are likely ahead of him - in Jazz uniform.
