Jeremy's biggest flaw remains his positioning and spacing, though tonight it looked much improved. Still, there were a few times when he would leave the area around the basket to go stand near the three point line. It's one thing to do that if you're setting a screen, but he wasn't. Couple of those times, he actually received the ball, but he just passed it to the nearest Jazz player. I wouldn't have an issue with this, but he's absolutely no threat out there. His jumper still isn't that reliable, and it's not like he's prime Kirilenko so that defenders all soil their pants when he has the ball above his head in the high post because they know it'll soon be a layup for someone. He also doesn't really know how to put it on the floor, so of course the only thing he does is pass it to a guy on the left or the right.
It almost looks like he's trying to hard to do textbook stuff and be useful instead of focusing on what his role should be. Bang down low a bit, stay close to the rim for putbacks.
