So, I have been thinking that because of Jumping Jack Jeremy's ability to block shots, rebound the basketball, and knock down the open J, he could be an effective 4th big which equals = about 15 minutes a night or so. I can run the floor very well and is quick and Nimble. I think he could do it. What do you think? Discuss...

I'm Batman!!

Wanna know how I know you are not the real Batman? Batman has like no knees left. I saw it in the movie. He can't run anymore... Boom.

Besides, what does Jeremy Evans have to do with you running the floor and being quick and nimble?

I like Jeremy, he should play more. I think he impacts the game similar to the way AK impacted it. He blocks, steals, deflects and generally causes havoc for the other team. I think he makes the game more interesting and energizes the crowd. The Jazz would have won the game if he would have played 15-20 minutes in that NYK game debacle where Kurt Thomas ran Milsap & Al off the floor.

But I am not convinced the Jazz team could go into a season with him as the 4th big unless they also had a rookie pf/c as a 5th big.

5th big? Sheesh braugh.

I voted "no" but not because I don't think he deserves t play, but because I see him more as a 3 than a 4.

The problem with Evans is he can get bullied by everyone, including point guards. You can use him in spurts while the defense is not completely aware of his gimmicks but once scouted against will be a liability.

I'm skeptical you can keep him in a rotation and be a good basketball team due to his inability to guard 240-pound chairs or a perimeter player with any ability. But... I don't know. Maybe. The thought has crossed my mind, certainly.

Because of his length and hops, I think he could manage.

Sup.

He hasn't shown enough to me that he can be a rotation player, but at the same time, he hasn't been given enough minutes to demonstrate this.

What kind of time do you need to know if he can be a rotation player as the 4th big. He's 6-9 196 lb's. If he played Kanter's minutes on a nightly basis, teams would go at him with their pf's every play and he'd get killed on post up defense, he'd mak Millsap look like Shaq in the post. Why do you think he still can't crack the rotation after three years.

Against most 3rd and 4th bigs, I think he would be fine. We have seen that when he gets a little playing time, His length, athleticism and, quickness really help make up for his lack of weight. I think he'd be fine and if you look at his rebounding percentage, it is off the charts. Granted it is a small sample size and against lesser opponents, but it is enough to beleive he'd be alright and if it is against lesser opponents, that is fine because that is who he will be playing against anyway. His Player efficeincy rating (PER) is 19 and his PER 36 Minute Stats are pretty good: 2.3 blocks, 9.3 rebounds, almost 13 points. If he could knock down the open jumper, he'd be a solid option as our 4th big.

Right.... Because meaningless garbage time is a great indicator for your stats given.

I know they are the worst team in the league, but he was pretty fabulous in the Charlotte game, and a lot of what he did was against their top level guys. I am not saying it means he is sure to be successful, But I don't think we can totally rule him out as a 4th big until he gets consistent minutes and does not produce. Everytime I have seen him play, he makes plays. He blocks shots, He rebounds, he hustles and he makes things happen. this is all i am trying to say.

Oh god!! Another idiot with no reading comp. skills. 99.9% of his time on the court is against other players that aren't good enough to be in their teams rotations because they suck, also garbage Tim ball is meaningless basketball, and usually resembles street ball. If he played against rotation players every game he'd get killed, and due to his slight frame, he'd spend even more time injured then AK did with us.
