i know the kid drop out of high school to pursue his dream of playing in the nba and doing the oversea route, but do you think Jeremy Tyler is worth taking a chance on either in the late 1st round or early 2nd round as a backup center. who knows if he back up his talk and taking his game a bit more serious he could be the another DeAndre Jordan.

What did I tell you about saying dumb ****?

i know the Jazz has the 3rd and 12th pick in the draft...i what i forgot to add in my comment do you think the Utah Jazz front office will make any kind of deals to get and maybe try to draft him next month in the nba draft. i just like everyone honest opinion about this player...is he too much of risk to take say if the Utah Jazz is able to make some kind of deal to get a 2nd round pick.

hey im getting tired of people making fun of my comments on here...if anyone don't have anything good to say go and **** off.

If the Jazz are going to go out of their way to get a later pick, I sure ****ing hope they don't blow it on this turd.

But seriously, I hope the Jazz acquire a later pick by dumping some trash. Before Tyler, I'd easily want (in no particular order) Charles Jenkins, Jimmy Butler, Justin Holiday, Darius Morris, and David Lighty. If we're talking 20's in the 1st round, I'd take Reggie Jackson, Nolan Smith, and Tyler Honeycutt.

Ok, I'll be nice. Having seen Tyler at the combine it's understandable that people would be interested. He's the same weight as Kanter but with a much longer wingspan and he's really athletic. Worth gambling on, sure. But he won't last til the second round - not this year - and I might be too scared to gamble on him with the 12th pick. He may have matured a bit after his time overseas but he still scares me. In his interview he looked like he was doing all he could to keep it together, summoning his self control not to react with either defensive expletives or collapsing in a puddle of tears.

Hopefully a patient GM will give him a chance, but I don't want my team to do it.

i think had he stay in school and went to college or yr or 2...i think he would be worth taking at....i know he is a gamble...so was DeAndre Jordan we can still send him to the Utah Flash and he can still work on his game if the Utah Jazz were to draft him if we make some kind of deal to get a 3rd draft pick in the draft. Right now im just not sold on alot of players in this draft.

Right now Im not sold on any player in this Draft. This draft has Zero can't miss prospects. No matter who we get at 3 and even more so at 12 is going to have a lot of question marks this year. This is going to be one of those Drafts were the 8th pick could end up being the best guy out of the class in 5 years.

As for the OP. I would have to say pass on Tyler unless we pick up a random 2nd rounder and he is still there. Love his athletic ability. But not sold on his IQ or team concept ability

Yeah, lotsa risk/reward this year. Next year's draft is gonna be a better party - I just wanna get in the door.

In regards to how "poor" this draft is, you rate that AFTER it's all been said and done. I seem to remember everyone bemoaning the '09 draft, and it seems to have produced a lot of quality players (even if low on franchise players). While I agree there aren't any can't-miss guys, how real is that general evaluation anyway? I'm excited to see who pans out and just how much so. Just out of curiosity if nothing else.

Me too. There are some guys that certainly intrigue me.
