What's new

Jeremy Tyler worth taking a risk either late 1st round or early 2nd round.

Right now im just not sold on alot of players in this draft.

Right now Im not sold on any player in this Draft. This draft has Zero can't miss prospects. No matter who we get at 3 and even more so at 12 is going to have a lot of question marks this year. This is going to be one of those Drafts were the 8th pick could end up being the best guy out of the class in 5 years.

As for the OP. I would have to say pass on Tyler unless we pick up a random 2nd rounder and he is still there. Love his athletic ability. But not sold on his IQ or team concept ability

Yeah, lotsa risk/reward this year. Next year's draft is gonna be a better party - I just wanna get in the door.

In regards to how "poor" this draft is, you rate that AFTER it's all been said and done. I seem to remember everyone bemoaning the '09 draft, and it seems to have produced a lot of quality players (even if low on franchise players). While I agree there aren't any can't-miss guys, how real is that general evaluation anyway? I'm excited to see who pans out and just how much so. Just out of curiosity if nothing else.

Me too. There are some guys that certainly intrigue me.

im not asking the Utah Jazz to draft this kid...heck i'm no gm either so i have no talent who is good or not...just like everyone going off about jimmer...we know how great he was in college...but we don't know how good he is going to be once he is in the nba....i know a lot of people are going to want to see him do things and play big time by him like the way he did in college, and if not are fans to going to boo him like when the new york knicks fans did with patrick ewing during his rookie year. just because a players did not do well in the combine maybe when they do the individual work outs with the jazz they might see something different we might over look on tv. that is all i got to say.
