He was talking about Trey Burke struggling in the SL. Said most people in the country say "Big deal, its the SL." not jazz fans though. Said we care about our team, know what's going on with them in the summer, we pay attention to what outle #9 pick is doing, progressing. Complimented us for being somewhat concerned.

Nice to hear something nice about us for a change.

Yea so Trey was on the Rome show and even that didn't work out for Trey. His phone dropped Rome twice, including once where Trey can be heard saying hello, are you there....while Rome is hollering at him.

Bad week for the Rookie. He needs somebody to give him a hug and tell him it will be okay.

Playing in SLC with Favors, Burks and Karl Malone should help. Maybe a week in Spokane?

It wouldn't be jazzfanz without people bashing anyone who has succeeded in life. Rome is awesome, IMO, but of course tons of jazzfanz are smarter, better than him, and also know much more than any FO personell the Jazz have ever had. If the world would just understand the talent we have living on a little website, the world would be at peace and my favorite team would be a 5 time champ right now. Morans...

And yet is still better than everyone else in Utah's media other than Kyle Gunther.

Love kyle gunther.
Best thing to ever come from the U o U

I can't believe Jazzfanz doesn't get more love. It's like the local media goes purposely out of their way to avoid us.
We are the biggest Jazz community, and we cover everything here.
Are we blacklisted?

not jazzfanz.... that was just a play on words y'all. i simply meant jazz fans. although the sentiments he was talking about are most prevalent in this community IMO!!!!

It was hilarious seeing David Locke stutter in his podcast when he mentioned the fact that 'a friend of his saw something on..."some jazz website"'.

Of course, it was about Xsy's thread regarding the history of young teams who lock up the 8th season in the playoffs, and how they tend to progress afterwards. This was after the 2012 season when we got first-round swept. 'Locke's friend' found it, showed it to Locke, and Locke was asking 'whoever made it' (Xsy) to basically come forward and talk to him about it.

Basically, what I'm saying, is that the entire process of him bringing it up was super awkward-- and I have no idea why. I think the Jazz franchise has this fascination with keep the opinions of fans very far removed from the franchise itself-- right to the point where Locke acts all awkward when he mentions how he's looking at a trend originally brought up on a Utah Jazz forum.

PS: I think several Utah journalists follow the @jazzfanz twitter page, which basically tweets out every started thread. So they definitely read it.

Hmmmmm....I have an idea.
