Jimmer workout observer's reaction

Holy hell, who in the **** is posting here? There is NO (none) chance that Jimmer Fredette will be selected #3. If anyone is actually serious about this .. nevermind.

I feel ya.... It's the Jimmer cult, and Jimmer is their God.

Lol. Its like some sick joke right? Like a twilight zone episode. Its very very very creepy.

I'd take Jimmer over Knight or Walker. The concerns seem answered. He's 2x the offensive player of either one. No denying that. If he were from UConn or Kentucky he'd go 1st.

There is a reason Jimmer didn't play at UConn or Kentucky. He isn't as good. Calipari and Calhoun both watched Jimmer play when he was in NY. They were both aware of the Jimmer. And yet they both took other point guards (Evans, Rose, Wall) and they made the right choices.

How hard is it to comprehend this? Keep hiding behind your strawman arguments. If the Jazz decide to go PG at 3 Jimmer Fredette is a reasonable pick. So called draft experts (and internet wanna be experts) have been wrong before, and I think he was dramatically undervalued. Go watch the post Jimmer workout videos of Corbin and KOC, both look like they are trying to stop smirking.......we've been surprised before. I'm not saying this will happen, I actually think they will take Kanter if available, but I can see a Jimmer at 3 scenario. Draft night is gonna be sweet---

Scout added that based on pre-draft individual workouts, "Jimmer should be drafted third. Intriguing to me why people have issues with him."

On what basis do you believe Walker or Knight should be picked ahead of him? "Wow" is not a rational argument. Neither is the even worse and bordering on the dumbest damned thing I've ever heard anyone say "Calipari and Calhoun both watched Jimmer play when he was in [high school] in NY [4 years ago] and they didn't take him."

Are they a fraction quicker in a flat out sprint. Check! Wow, you're onto something. You might be right! Sprinting could just be the single most important trait a basketball player could hope to aspire to have.

Are they laterally quicker. Nope. Jimmer's quicker.

Are they better shooters? Not no, but hell no. NOT IN THE SAME LEAGUE.

Are they better defenders? Hard to say, but I think the question of whether Jimmer can adequately defend has been answered.

Are they better passers? Walker sure didn't show it in the workout. Jimmer was better.

Are they tougher mentally? No.

Do they have better handles on the basketball? No.

Are they better team-mates? Do they have more "it factor" than Jimmer? NOT EVEN CLOSE!

Are they black? Wow. You got me there. Racists.

Maybe they're better rebounders! Maybe they're better shot blockers!

Your biases and prejudices are blinding you, not mine blinding me. I couldn't care less about BYU basketball. I only watched them in the tournament. I'm a Jazz fan exclusively when it comes to basketball. And I like this kid and want him on our team.

I LOVE our front line right now just the way it is.

With Jefferson, Favors, and Memo at the 4/5, Millsap and AK at the 3, Heyward and #12 at the 2, and Harris and Fredette at the point. That's an awesome team who will compete this year and for many years to come.

I think momentum is building here, we could see Jimmer taken at 3. The OP was entertainingly over the top but some of the key points have been corroborated by multiple sources now. Jimmer is a complete player and as good of a point guard prospect as anyone not named Kyrie. I can't wait for draft night.

Man. I really hope not!!!!!

Not even close? Kemba oozes with "it factor." Did you watch him in the tourney? Kemba's "it factor" took his team to the championship. In spite of his size his it factor is what's making him a projected lottery pick.

I admit Fredette has some of this "it factor" too though. I like Fredette. But I don't want any PG at pick 3 unless Irving somehow falls. Then I might trade him to the highest bidder.

Kemba's closer in it factor. I was thinking mostly Knight. Point made. I'd say Jimmer is higher than Kemba though.

True seems like Calipari just wants one and done guys. Looking back you wouldnt take a 4 year guy who won national player of the year over a one and done guy? Crazy.
