What's new

Jimmer

On second thought, we probably don't even need to throw money at him to see if he bites. We already know.

Yes, we know. He won't come. He's holding out for New York, his hometown and favorite city.

Jimmer is smart like a fox, he's playing it cool right now to fool the opposing teams into thinking he can't play defense.
He's almost ready to unleash his inner Jimmer "The Glove" Fredette, and its about time.
In my opinion he overplayed his hand and has not only fooled opposing teams, but has tricked the fans, FO's, his teams and his coaches. It's past time to take the mask off and claim his spot at the MVP and DPOY table.

I think he wanted to stay humble before taking over the league. He knows that if you start to celebrate too early you may drop the ball before you cross the line, and that's not good.

Exactly. The only one who knows of his true identity is Phil Jackson. Think of him as Alfred Pennyworth. Due to the draft rules, the Zen Master knew he had no shot at getting The Jimmer. But now, he'll be able to get him on the cheap as a FA.

I admire your optimism, sir. Pos repped. As for the play that shall not be named, I praise my Lord Jesus Christ every day that I'm alive, that I was unable to catch the first part of the game, and thus mine eyes were spared the greatest offense of dumbassery ever committed in the history of anything. I pray for this young man's spirit, as this wasn't just a game changer, or a season changer, but for him, possibly a life changer. May the good Lord give him strength.

Even so, I am more than happy with where my team is at right now, as everybody everywhere knows I should be. I'm wearing my shades right now, because the future is so bright!!! So even though The Colossal Dumbassery(still workin' on a name) was very sad and disappointing, you can't bring me down, Charlie Brown!

*Edit* Just forced myself to finally watch the replay and then Colossal Dumbass interview. I have decided to stop praying for him in favor of making death threats instead. Still walkin' on sunshine, though!

Looks like Fish got bored with this thread, so I guess I'll take over until he gets back.

Tonight against SA:

4 points on 2-4 shooting, 0-1 3pt, 1 reb in 10 minutes

Duplicated that against CLE last night. That's like 38 pts per 96. Not bad. He hasn't even made a 3 this year. Nobody understands how to use him properly. You put him the game, give him the green light to shoot everything, tell Anthony Davis he's now the second scoring option, and don't look back.

He's picking up steam. He had a blocked shot this year. I don't think it was a scoop shot or Rick Barry FT either.

Tonight against LA:
-
00 pts on 0-0 shooting, 0-0 3pt, 0 rebs, 0 steals, 0 assists, 0 pf, 0 to(nice), in 0 min.
-
Pelicans win!

Obviously hiding him. They know LA will have a couple of max slots available. Imagine Kobe teaming with Love and Jimmer! #unstoppable
