Jimmers athletic testing.

KANTER and JIMMER

This.

For me Jimmer is like Korver, but can actually dribble the ball and was able to get to the rim in college ball, where there is no defensive 3 seconds, often while splitting double teams. (Although he did have more shot-clock to work with...)

Kanter has the frame to get even bigger, has good hands to catch and shoot, or secure rebounds, while using his size to box out.

Sounds good to me.

Ponderous.....

silesian,

If you are going to use Sagarin, use Sagarin, not some formulation you made on the back of a napkin. Sagarin has the SEC as a better conference, but the mean is less than half a point. This means that Sagarin considers both coferences roughly equal. The difference between the SOS between Kentucky and BYU is only 2.7 points out of around 80, which also isn't a dramatic difference. Thank you for the lecture, so sorry you woke up and took some angry bossy pills. You may want to tamper your beligerence with some reading comprehension lessons.

First, for some head-scratching reason, you seem to conclude from the facts I presented that I belive that the SEC is a much stronger conference. Ummmm.... one average ranking is 91 and the other is 95, can't get much closer than that, my feeble minded poster.

Only to be topped by your "2.7 out of 80" comment on schedule strength, which is "brilliant" on several levels: The worst score is 62.2, the best score is 82.4 (a score which makes your comment "out of 80" quite curious or maybe dreamed up on your magic math envelope), so the difference between the likes of Georgetown/ UConn/Michigan State/ West Virginia and the likes of Utah Valley/ Alabama A&M/ South Dakota/ Jackson State is only ~20 points. 2.7 point difference is >13% of the spread between the best and worst schedules, which is not "dramatic", but it is certainly "significant"

Finally, you seem to have managed to confuse Sagarin's ranking (the relative position that Sagarin provides of one team versus another) with Sagarin's rating. If you had opened Sagarin's page for a second, you would have seen that I was clearly using ranking values, but that exercise may be beyond your intellectual reach.

Hope you feel better soon.
