I would do the OP trade in a heartbeat. We get a solid defender and a solid scorer that takes tons of pressure of Hayward and allows him to be the number 2 guy who can facilitate more and when he has big games and shots going in can take over that game. It also gives us an elite defense. Exum is potentially an elite pg on defense, Hayward is a really good defender, Butler is a great defender, Favors is a great defender and Gobert is an elite defender. Butler would love playing with this team. Butler and Hayward have both been run ragged by their coaches over the last few years hopefully this would let both play a little less and run less miles on the court in a season.
The trade [MENTION=2564]SLCHooper[/MENTION] just posted is a hell no for me. Noah looks to be done or at least not a starter anymore and Rudy is on the rise still.
I think I would prefer getting DeRozan or maybe Beal as a FA over losing Hood and Burk and picks for Butler but those players are unlikely to come here. This trade is a possibility.
If we picked up Butler and traded him for a draft pick I would be very disappointed though.

What we should be seeing are trades including the 12th pick for a vet to add depth and play a role while also picking up future first rounders and the teams targeted should be contenders.
