JL III is Back in the NBA

What I take from this is the numbers posted by Mudiay are VERY suspect.

I don't know, Mudiay is on a very good team that plays team ball like the spurs. Also, Mudiay is huge for a point guard. John Lucas isn't even big for a normal person.

Right. But if a player like JLIII can put up big numbers in the CBA, then it must be a pretty weak league. Certainly Mudiay has the better potential and great size, but he apparently isn't going up against very good competition.

Errick McCollum just scored 82 points in a game over there the other day if that helps the context.

The CBA is like summerleague where if somebody is not producing above a certain mark you can assume they probably stink. But you can't read too much into just how much #'s they are putting up beyond that. Summearleague - anybody that puts up less than 10/game is 99% chance a bum. CBA the line is probably 15...maybe a couple points higher.

Starberry is still playing over in China and he's what 60 years old?

He does look like he moves well still in his highlights. I bet he could've been a decent NBA backup PG still during at least a couple of his first China years.

That 82 point game was againt Mudiays(old?) team btw. Errick McCollum is C.J.'s older brother. CBA's leading scorer. Averages 40/game. Knows the Star Spangled Banner by heart. Favorite food is Nacho Cheese Doritos. And he actually looks intriguing. Love the floaters. He killed it in the Euro Cup too:

Wow. I only made it halfway through. That's quite honestly about the worst basketball I've ever seen. I've seen more hustle, grit, defense and passion at churchball and Junior Jazz games. Is it the communism?

Did JL3 play center in China? :3 Seriously though, I hope for his sake he worked on his game in China because I would take any random PG in the D-League All-Star game over JL3

My god, do they call traveling or palming the ball in China? No joke they were all lethargic out there, I think I could have scored at least 10 pts against them myself.

Glad he made it back. Chinese...if their slam dunk competitions is any indication...
