Joey's farely consistent in that he'll constantly favors the road team (see Game 2 of the '98 NBA Finals or Game 3 last year vs. the Lakers). He also ref'd Game 1 against Denver last year and I felt made a substantial amount of calls in the Jazz's favor.

You can't box out if the official let's your opponent push you, and won't let you hold your ground without a foul called on you.

That 2nd call on Deron was bogus.
However, we let the Heat do anything they wanted. We put up no resistance defensively (we made Big Z look like Larry Bird), were outrebounded big time by a team that sucks at rebounding, couldn't make a 3, and quite honestly, didn't play with the toughness or intensity necessary to beat a good team. We've seen this kind of lackluster performance for about 2 weeks now. If you can't blow out the Grizz on your home court, don't expect to beat good teams like Dallas or Miami.

The refs create confusion and frustration for a player when the calls are so wrong and go against the player. It's a test of a players' mettle for him to keep playing his game, even though he's accumulating fouls. Often the refs change how they call a game (calling ticky-tack fouls vs allowing a lot of contact), so unless the player clearly understands why the foul was called, probably should just keep playing his game. Besides, we have such a deep bench, players shouldn't be overly concerned with their fouls...

Violet Palmer can't be far behind, though to be fair to her, I'm not sure any team ever wants to see her because she just sucks in general.

Exactly, I feel like Delaney, Javie, Kirkland and Bavetta are either prejudice against the Jazz/the crowd or in Bavetta's case - hopelessly in the bag for the superstar players and big-market teams. Palmer is too incompetent to have her own agenda.
