For now, Flynn is plotting his next step. He said he may look to play in China or Spain if he doesn't make it out of an NBA training camp. But he's not ready to quit. Can you really be washed-up at 24 years old? Or could Flynn improbably morph into a late-blooming lottery star, the same way Chauncey Billups did once upon a time? "When you go through things like I have, it takes a little bit of the joy away," Flynn said after his cameo against the Hawks. "But I still love the game."

Hmm getting Flynn on a minimum contract might not be a bad idea.

It could be that Flynn just doesn't have what it takes to be an NBA player. It also could be that he hasn't gotten a chance since his hip injury.

So did another certain pg.....

a few other similarties between the two. I hope the results are better for our guy.

Hahahahaha! I was thinking the same thing and I saw that someone else mentioned that Burke and Flynn are very similar.

Interesting. Apparantley the rookie version of Flynn burned up the summer league,

Flynn capped off an exciting week with a highlight-reel windmill dunk in the closing minutes of the Chicago game. He also earned the T-Mobile NBA Rookie of the Month Award prior to the contest. Flynn averaged 15 points and 7.4 assists per game while shooting 48 percent from the field and 58 percent from the 3-point line. No. 11 is a sure bet, just be ready to double down on Flynn in 2009-10.

In the right system, healthy he is a good offensive player. He still has defensive question marks. But as a unrestricted FA he is a low risk/high reward pickup.

He's a Bobby Jackson or Jason Terry-type player off the bench. He is not a PG. He was probably taken too high in the draft so he has that stigma. If I were OKC or Spurs, I would take a shot on him. Maybe even the Lakers to provide some scoring in Kobe's absence. Don't think he is right for the Jazz at this time.

He is not the same player due to his injury. He looked horrible in the summer league. He doesn't have that blow by speed anymore.
