Jordan Adams - 23rd pick??

I love Kyle Anderson as a player. He does it all. I honestly am really really worried with his ability to get by his defender. I honestly don't even know if he is quick enough to run a pick and roll. His foot speed is slower than most PF's and Centers. I hope I am wrong because he is a great player and very smart.

TJ Warren is talented but I worry about these tweener 3/4 players. Who can't shoot from the outside and are not big enough to play the 4 full time. I see them as Al-Farouq Aminu type players who can never carve roles in the NBA.
This used to be a known thing to not draft tweeners very high, but I guess everyone is trying to copy the Miami Heat recently. But not every team will have a Lebron.

The top teams come playoff time usually have 2 bigs down low. Lebron is a freak and the exception, but the Pacers, Grizzlies and Spurs all went to the Conference finals last year with 2 bigs
This small ball only works when the 4 can shoot.

Any one at 23 is going to have flaws and all that any team can hope for is to find a contributor. I certainly think Adams can contribute but if any of these guys become all-stars then a franchise simply got lucky.

I like Neto. I see him as a Tony Parker type player once he gets his floater down. He can break down the defense with his quickness. And his court vision is much better then Burke. Burke seems to put his head down, worrying more about his speed then who is open.

If we don't bring him over next year then I don't see the point in drafting him.

Are you saying that he is similar to Tony Parker's playing style, or that he can be as good as Tony Parker?

Cause…Tony Parker has been a top-10 PG for the past decade…he's really freaking good.

Similar playing style in terms of being able to break down the defense with the ball.

I don't like making predictions about who they will become. I only will make comparisons to styles and ability with what they have now.
He is very good at breaking down the defense. He is shifty also and his court visions is very good.
I see Neto as having that ability that Parker has, but he looks to pass more a little more than Parker does. Parker is a better scorer though and is faster.
Just their style of play is similar. He is a long way to go before being half the play Parker is.

I get what you're saying now. Just wanted to clarify.

Even though I like Jordan Adams a lot. I like Burks more. I really hope Cleveland takes Favors, 5 and 23 for the #1.

I wouldn't mind Adams at 23. Everyone talks about him not being an athlete but he does a lot of things well. He will fill up the stat sheet. Also, he didn't have too many bad games while at UCLA. I think he plays smart.

Jordan Adams had the lowest vertical jump in the draft. I'm not high on Jordan Adams. Doesn't seem like a good athlete.

There are two ways to look at this though. If he was already a beast in college despite that vertical, imagine how much better he could be by adding 4 inches at P3.

At 23 who the **** knows? Just have to trust that the staff did their homework. Maybe the Jazz see something in this dudes game that will translate well to the NBA.
