Up and down, sorta mid. No feelings of angst for missing out on him…
I was surprised to see Tonje out there! He played well - especially for a first SL game. I really hope he can be an OK defender in the NBA - his offense will be fine.
I'm wondering if he's going to gain some weight and become a Brice clone - both 6'5, stocky guys who aren't athletic but can shoot lights out.

I am a lot higher on Cody having another contract after his rookie contract than I was before summer league.
While not perfect or overly exciting, he definitely looks improved and seems like he could be a real role player someday. I know the potential of "could be a real role player" is brutal after the year we needed to get him, but still it's an improvement over last year. Plus his brother is looking like an actual star and he can probably get the Thanasis treatment on his team.

I loved Tonje game performance last night. He did extremely well, and stepped up when it counted, like that crucial 3 he made to keep the Jazz in the ball game. That buzzer beater against him was brutal, but it happens. That's basketball life.
