What's new

July 14 SL Exum vs Parker 8:30 MT

Hayward has shot 36% from 3 for his career.

Yes, he struggled shooting last year. No, 36% is not great, but it is certainly not bad.

Insinuating that Hayward cannot shoot is just not factual. That is all.

At this point, Exum can only play about a half of basketball before running out of gas. I'm sure a lot of it has to do with not playing 5 on 5 for a bit, but his conditioning has been poor.

Is his motor a concern? Not yet.

Did your wife bang the postman? Pick some flowers Negative Nancy.

I remember when anyone who dared speak out against the ak47, the chosen one, was labeled a negative nancy.

We don't seem to learn from the past.

Too many stupid or young fans out there.

Hood's lookin' good! Exum was really tentative and conservative. To begin the game, his penetration would create a solid shot every time. He stopped doing this and looked nervous. He does not stop the ball and he has great BBIQ, but I want to see some aggression out of him. Gobert absolutely impacts nearly every shot in the paint. I don't see how he won't get minutes this year; he's a beast!

I wouldn't worry much about tentativeness from Exum. He was aggressive when he needed to be in order to get the Jazz going. The offense was really flowing and they didn't need to rely on him to playmake much the rest of the game. Multiple guys could make plays tonight.

Jabari is slow

So that Hood guy is pretty good huh. What a passer.

Quinsanity creates great passing lanes.

Is it October yet?

So about this Quin Snyder system...players flying all over the place, quick passes, quick screens, everybody moving, lots of dunks, lots of threes, the defense never knowing where the shot or pass is coming from.

Kjzz keeps flashing pictures of Jerry sitting next to Quin, I love Jerry and can't keep from wondering what is going through his mind as he watches Quinsanity.

The offense was, dare I say it in a summer league game, beautiful! It resembled the Spurs offensive approach with the ball not sticking at all. After watching the Spurs in the Finals, I have found a real love for passing the ball. It's almost like making the shot is secondary sometimes when you have beautiful ball movement ended with a wide-open shot.

Wow, it's been a while since we've had a shooter like Hood.

I was wrong about him before the draft, and will gladly eat some crow.
He's a great kid, and a great addition to the team.
