What's new

just gonna lob this out there

Gonna guess that NAOS' point is that Zach Lavine won't be had for mere scraps.

He doesn't know what his point is. It changes from one minute to the next.

Summed up,its this...

Zach Lavine sucks, but can't be traded for because the Timberwolves see serious upside. The precedent has been set, it's never been done, trading for a player that early in his career, except it has, but what he really meant is. The raptors(McGrady). were upset they did it. Therefore again, it can't happen. but Paul George and Damian Lillard would be no problem because look at CP3 and Deron. In more summation, it's easier to trade for established stars, than it is to trade for low IQ second year players because it's impossible to trade for 2nd year players regardless of IQ. Don't get 2nd and 3rd year mixed up though, that's a huge difference. Even though they were both 20 years old.

That's seriously what he's been trying to say.

NAOS = the logic less thought machine. A puppet, a parrot, someone with no original thoughts, so that's why he has a hard to putting the pieces together.

A little hyperbolic but overall pretty accurate really

Like Kevin Garnett?

are you referring to Kevin Garnett with the no-trade clause? The guy who has, since his final years in Minnesota, always had enough power and influence to say exactly where he'll go and where he won't?

Yeah, he did change teams.

Yeah, he did change teams.

He didn't have a trade clause for that contract of 5 years 100 million. That's the extension that he signed after his first big contract. He had a no trade clause with Boston.

Right. So the first contract he signs after after his runs in Minnesota, he builds in a no-trade clause in with them -- and thereby grants himself heavy control over his whereabouts. He's picked his places with as much control as LeBron has. This while trying to raise his historical profile and win a championship. Yeah, Kevin Garnett. Right?

Maybe Burke and Burks and OKC pick for Teague and Korver? Would the Hawks ever do this?

Teague-Exum
Hood-Korver
Hayward-Ingles
Favors-Lyles
Gobert-Withey

...plus draft picks...man, if Favors could develop a three and Exum is improved from his rookie year, that would be some killer shooting.
