2012 and 2013 are going to have some amazing talent! We all know about the 2012 class, but here are a few players that blew me away this morning.

Shabazz Mohammad- Legit 6-6 shooting guard. I have spoken about him before and have the luxury of watching him grow up. This kid is the real deal His elevation is lightning quick and he get to the hole with ease. In todays game against the Atlanta Celtics he single handedly lead back the dreamvison with about 5 minutes to go. He has great midrange game and showed the ability to drill the three pretty well today. He is being compared to Kobe by some sites and while he has alot to improve on, he could become an excellent pro. Hiiting the three has never really been a strength of his, but today he stroked it well. If he can do it consistently sky is the limit.

Jordan Adams- 6-5 shooting guard with a solid build. Commited to UCLA Holy **** can this guy stroke it! this was my first time seeing him and he shot over and thru multiple defenders. He also nailed a few step back 3's. Range is not going to be a problem for him. He did not appear overly athletic. I would compare him to a JR Smith with a solid head on his shoulders. This guy is defenitly on my watch list.

Shaq Goodwin- 6-8 PF. Yep. There are now teenagers named Shaq. Dude is undersized, but absolute beast with range to 18 feet. Very athletic. Runs real hard and has a knack for snatching up boards. If he can grow a few more inches he could be a star. In one sequence he grabed 5 O-boards cleared out the last with a drop step that shook the Gym. Unbelievable power and finness.

Andre Drummond 6-10 250 or so pure muscle. A man among boys. This kid is on same path as other super freak bigs like a Favors, Amare, Dwight. It was scary watching him play against some of these kids. As much as I love Shabazz I cant see why this guy would not be the obvious number one pick. I think he can be a legit center in the league. He has guard skills. He drove many times from 15 feet out and just elevates over everyone. He had a really good defensive presence with many altered shots and at least 5 huge swats. He went against another 5 star, Isiah Austin and dominated.

I cant find the box scores, but will post once I can locate.

I would love to see the Jazz struggle for two more years as the team gels and grows together. If the Jazz can get two picks from 2012 and add another lottery in 2013, we can be dangerous for along time. 2012 and 2013 are going to feature some of the best players to come out in back to back years in a very long time. two more years of maturing this team and grabbing lottery picks in the process will set us up for an amazingly bright future.

I am hearing that Andre Drummond might be in the 2012 draft class something to do with his age. Will just push some one even lower. Also if the Jazz end up with 2 lotto picks next year there is no way they will not be a play off team in 2013. KOC and the Jazz are to smart not to add some players to make this a contender.

Jazz are most likely not going to have two first rounders next year. The GS pick is not going to be higher than a top 8 pick. Right now the Jazz need a stud PG and bench depth. The PF/Center position are pretty set if Favors and Kanter pan out. Hayward and Burks seem like answers at the SG/SF. I would hope that the Jazz can get either another big guy when AJ and Millsap's contract expire and then they need another guy at SG/SF and a stud PG.

Thanks for the updates I will have to put these guys on my draft list.

I still don't see drafting a stud PG out of the next draft (because I don't think there is one). VERY good shot at an ELITE SF .. if two in the lottery, I'd say a grab a SG (Rivers/Beal) or trade te 2nd pick.

Perhaps but Hayward and Burks appear to be pure 2's to me. Can Hayward play the 3? Sure. Can Burks play the 1? Perhaps. But I don't see either one of them excelling at those positions like they could at the 2. This then makes me think drafting a 2 isn't the best way to go if there's a group of about five guys whose skills and ceilings are nearly indistinguishable.

Correct. A SF is the 'get' in this draft. However, if I can get that and Rivers or Beal, I do it.

Are they that much more highly touted than Teague or Shabazz (or whatever his name is)?

Perhaps then trade Rivers for a veteran point who still has a strong 6-8 years left in them? Rondo? Someone like that. Doc can then coach his son.

Yes .. better than Teague. Shabazz is the year after. If we can get Gillie and Rondo (in a trade) .. contender, imho.

Pkm- do you see shabazz as the next big thing. I know you follow the aau circuit as well. I do see (gulp), kobe/jordan/wade mix to his game. What do you think about drummond? I have some vid my boy is putting up on you tube soon. I have drummond going coast to coast and throwin down sick on some dudes. I mean he and shabazz seriously seem like they will be the future of the nba to me if they countinue to develop. Both are probably the most skilled aau guys i have seen in sometime.

The most impressive guys I've seen in the last 10 years, on the AAU circuit, are likely;
- Kevin Durant (we know)
- Blake Griffin (we know)
- John Wall (unstoppable, perennial all-star)
- Andre Drummond (unbelievable, but HAS to learn to play every play)
- Shabazz Muhammed (he very well may be the 'next')
