Kamala Harris for Pres

You will keep losing elections handedly with that mindset.

So basically people like you being butthurt turned the election? No, people like you are selfish pricks who gravitate to a douche like Trump. And more than ever America is full of selfish pricks.

What do you mean by this exactly? You support a guy who is a total jackass rapist criminal and says the most idiotic, outlandish, racist, misogynistic, etc. **** and has done nothing but put down the USA and try to turn Americans against each other and you want us to ****ing coddle you? You are a total ****ing *****.

Asking people to stop calling Nazi's Nazi's and Fascists Fascists is stupid AF. If you don't support them then why are people internalizing this criticism? even if you voted for them this time and come back around, I welcome you. I just don't care about the name calling at all and I don't see it as an issue.

I'm more than willing to call out the Harris campaign for abandoning working class people and doing a **** job at earning votes. Calling a spade a spade is not something they did wrong. Stop being a snowflake.

The issue is why male voters such as yourself so easily hand wave away all the terrible stuff Trump says and does.

You would not let Trump babysit your child or manage your business but you just made him president of the country. That is a massive leap to take just because you hate identity politics.

You are right about that. It’s not like we were given a much better option to begin with. Just like Kamala pushing legalizing marijuana last second after she incarcerated so many people for it when she was a prosecutor and literally hid evidence that could have freed someone. Both candidates are very flawed. People are really simple minded. Their lives were better with Trump as president than Biden. Sometimes it just comes down to that.

I've never lost an election. Never won one either unless my fifth grade class president victory counts.

I'm not going to try to convince disgusting people to be on my side. I don't want Trump voters to be on my side. I get it, this is who the U.S. is. I'm not interested in saving the U.S., I'm looking at making the best life for myself and my family can here, and if that becomes impossible I'll see if I can make a good life somewhere else.

I'm a veteran but today I no longer love this country and although I had a good experience in the military I wish I had never served a society that chooses Trump as their leader.

Fool the people once, shame on you. Fool them again, shame on them.

Great post.

I don't disagree that people voted based off of the above.

I'll quickly add, that the Biden admin currently supports a fascistic and genocidal regime in Israel. Trump and his ilk don't hold a 100% monopoly on this ****.

I don't think it would have mattered really. I think there was enough time for the electorate to get to know any of them. Mayor Pete, Newsom and Whitmer were already pretty well known. That was probably a convenient excuse for whoever chose Kamala. Damn, wish we knew who pushed Kamala. The Bidens?
I know you dont think so but you dont know. For whatever reason money seems to be very important to these presidential candidates. They both, trump and kamala, seemed to really want campaign donations for some reason so I figure money must help them some how to win elections. kamala starting her campaign with boatloads of money vs shapiro starting with nothing seemed to matter. Maybe money doesn't matter though. IDK.

I didn't like either candidate either.

But can we all admit that worst case scenario Trump is WAY WAY worse than worse case scenario Kamala? Like you kind of just distilled it all down; You didn't even refute what I said, just kind of shrugged and acknowledged that he's unfit.

A Kamala swing and miss is basically just status quo, I'm not happy about it, but I don't fear for the literal future of the country and world. If you guys swung and missed on Trump? There is really no telling how bad things can get. I only hope that if it does go bad, voters such as yourself will denounce the guy. I will happily take my 'unhinged alarmist leftist' label in return.

We have no idea of worst case scenario Kamala. Look at her 2019 positions versus her 2024 positions. She will say anything she is told to say, back any policy she is instructed to back. I don't think those controlling her strings in 2024 are super scary, but I don't consider that to be worst case scenario.

Worst case scenario is Gavin Newsom, who despite having a super-majority in the state legislature, essentially used emergency provisions to dissolve the legislative branch of the California government so he could take on their power for himself. One good thing I can say about Kamala is that she held the door against Gavin. Hold the door Kamala. Hold the door.

I think a good candidate would have outweighed campaign funds. And we knew that Kamala did terrible when she ran for President the first time.

I think many people who voted for Trump can admit it’s a joke that these two are the candidates we put forth.

As far as worst case with Trump. I’m not sure because I haven’t thought about it much. He was President for four years already and it was fine. I really hope he comes through with some of the stuff he has promised and campaigned.

Oof, you are not convincing me that the people actually knew what they were doing and things will be fine.

I was hoping the 'average' non MAGA crazy Trump voter might have a bit more conviction.

I think the average non-MAGA Trump voter doesn’t really think about the worst case as much as non-Trump voters do. Not even close.

Did you think about potential ramifications at all though?

What could be more important? And it doesn't seem like you really gave it much thought at all. That's honestly crazy to me. Look into the guy you are voting to be the next president of the country at least as much as you look into the NBA draft prospects. Is that an unreasonable ask?

I tend to think so too but you asked a question and I simply provided an answer.

Fine lol. January 6th. 2 impeachments. Can't remember how many indictments. 91?

Need a meme of a house on fire and the dude just chilling and saying everything was fine.

I can tell you this difference between term 1 and term 2. Term one he had people around him to disagree with him and talk him down from his worst ideas. Term 2 he plans to surround himself with those who won't disagree with him.

My question was about who pushed Kamala not the importance of money to the campaign. Someone mentioned that campaign funds was merely an excuse and not the reason they chose Kamala.

Didn’t the senate acquit him of the first impeachment?
