If you would have asked the question of what trump did for me financially then I would have answered in that way.

However, trump is the most corrupt, scandalous, and immoral candidate in history. I would prefer to be worse off financially for the next 4 years than to reward that scummy douchebag with the presidency.

(As it happens however, im currently better off financially than I have ever been in my life)

I bought my first house under the Trump admin with no money down and a 4.5% interest rate. Good times.

I bought my first house under the Obama admin with an even better rate. The president doesn't decide interest rates on homes.

I have a scorching hot take:

The US president doesn't have a very dramatic impact on the economy. There is some influence, but Congress, the Federal Reserve, and a million external factors that drive economic trends/technological advancements etc... are going to be major drivers of the economy no matter what the president does. And also unforeseen circumstances, like, I don't know, a global pandemic that drives inflation up through the roof.

And if trump were president right now houses would still be unaffordable.

If Biden were president when you bought your house you would have had a low interest rate and the house you bought would have cost the same.

Do you think that the president has a meeting with all things real estate and tells them how much houses will cost and what the interest rates will be for those houses? If so, why would any president choose to make houses unaffordable?

Other than some of my loans being forgiven, and the expanded CTC that expired, I'd say nothing. They haven't done much to improve my life. They've also not actively done any harm. It's about what I expected from Brandon and the congress makeup that they had.

Not that I know of. I was mostly just joking there. There does seem to be some extremely religious folks who are anti IVF though who do love them some trump. I think the whole trump will come for IVF is a scare tactic much like Obama is going to take your guns was.
