I'd do one without blinking. I'd have to give thought to 2 or 3. I'd say no, for sure, after that.

I have no care for Robinson, Beal, of any of the other players after 4, when it comes to trading them for Kanter. No way. I'm still way too high on the kid, and what he could potentially offer for this franchise.

I would be surprised if KOC could get anything inside 6 for him. Maybe if he showed more defensive potential. He's been nothing less than atrocious on help D and looks lost more than not.

You homers all know you'd be much higher on many of these prospects if the Jazz had a pick. :)

Yeah, you damn homers.

1-2 for sure, but I also have an affection for Harrison Barnes. I'm probably in the minority, but I would seriously consider a Kanter for Barnes scenario. No, I wouldn't take Barnes 1 or 2, but he's a solid value at 5. I think Kanter can be a good big man, but I don't see him ever becoming a difference maker, but I think Barnes might turn out to be a star.

I'd probably do a trade where the Jazz get Kevin Durant or Chris Paul for Kanter, but those guys are a tad overpriced compared to Kanter, so I don't think the numbers would work out.

We don't need Durant anyway, he's kind of redundant with Gordon.

Obligatory #6 + Wes Matthews for Kanter then draft Barnes comment.

I'm not terribly high on anyone in this draft after #1. And Kanter's stock isn't high enough to trade that high anyway. And I am high on Kanter.

The problem with trading Kanter is that Jefferson and Millsap are flawed bigs who should be starting for a contender. Millsap doesn't have the size to be a starter and Jefferson can't play D or rebound well enough. Kanter was overwhelmed and lost at different parts of the season. But he has the physical size and ability to become a very good rebounder and a above average defender. He already has a jumper.

The point being that a young big with the potential to be good is difficult to replace than other positions.

So unless you are getting Anthony Davis or another great player we are better off waiting and seeing if Kanter can deliver on his potential. These are the risks you have to take to have a chance at being great.

Top 2, or no deal. Anthony David and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist are the only two players I would trade Enes for, straight up.

But I would go gonezo over a Wes Matthews plus #6 pick for Enes. Though, I'd rather it as for Al.

We would be sitting VERY pretty in that scenario.

Don't see why they would want Kanter. They have Aldridge, and I don't think Kanter really compliments him well. I think you want a rim protector to be paired with Aldridge.

Kanter blows. I'll never understand all the love he gets from this site. I'd trade him for a sack of potatoes though.

EDIT: and when are the Jazz going to learn that drafting anyone from Euro is never a good idea?
