Kanter for???

This thread would be much more reasonable if you wrote "Hayward for??"

I love Kanter, but I'm seeing the direction this team is going and Kanter is looking like the odd-man out. I do agree that he does have a world of talent. I just think he would do really well on a team like the Bucks. Plus, he would give them much needed personality and locker room presence.

To make it work, I imagine the Jazz would have to bring back a bad contract, if the Bucks still have one. Kanter and cap space for their pick would be hard for them to pass up since they've shown they can sign free agents better than most lower tier markets. Plus, Kanter would be a nice fit combined with Sanders. It's much like what the Jazz were thinking with Favors. However, since Favors is slower and Kanter as well, it doesn't combine as well. That's why Marvin Williams has been much more successful for this team. There's a better balance; especially since we're pushing the ball much more now.

I would then go for Julius Randle instead of Wiggins or maybe Parker and play him as a stretch 4, like Marvin. I just think Julius Randle fits better with a point guard like Burke and our wings to go along with Favors space-eating. Sanders is more mobile than Favors so Kanter's size and scoring would be a nice balance for them. Although, Kanter has better range than Randle. I think the Jazz are ready to be a little more patient than I imagine the Bucks are at this point. They don't need another rookie to wait on.

Nice dream but teams are not giving up a top 4 pick for Kanter in this draft. Teams are not giving up a top 4 or so pick this year for any player that a team is willing to trade.

Like I said, it would have to include more parts, like a bad contract. Kanter can be a center piece for an offense, for sure. He's more than shown that he can be a 20-10 guy. It's just not with the current pieces we have on this team.

It's bad asset management to trade him. He won't look worse than he does now.

Buy low sell high

get it?

Nobody is a 20 and ten guy with the pieces on this team.

Didn't realize the draft lottery was last week and we already got that number one pick. Come on we are 18 games into a season and he's coming back from surgery it must be panic time on JazzFanz

Isn't it always panic time on jazzfanz?

More likely to be traded is Marvin, which would reopen minutes for kanter. Beginning Dec 15th free agents from last year can be traded so I would not be surprised at all to see him traded soon after.

Still way to early to give up on Kanter. I bet at the all-star break he'll be considered in the running for best player on this team.

Let's not give up on a talent like Enes yet!

I'd start gauging the market for him now. If a decent offer comes up before 12/15 when the market opens up, you pull the trigger.

Kanter needs to play before he can improve. In order for this to happen, DL needs to take some of Ty's veteran toys away. I fully expect to see Marvin and Jefferson traded opening up some more playing time for Kanter, Evans and Burks.

Can anyone argue that Kanter deserves minutes more than Marvin? This is Kanter's third year. He should know the offense and defense. Play better.
