Kanter player comparsions and thoughts on his likely progression

Hoefully these guys develop in a way that they make each other better. Like Stock and Malone did.

Keep in mind I am not implying Stock and Malone were anything less that awesome. However they helped each other.

Boozer had alot more quickness, agility, and ability to finish at the rim. People look at him now or think of him against the Lakers' bigs, but from 2004-09 Boozer could elevate and finish at the rim against 85% of the league.

Not to derail this thread, but I'm going to anyway.

I often wonder if Boozo and DWill miss playing in Utah, especially Boozo. The offense ran through him and his numbers were great because of it. I guess he got his big(er) pay day so he's all set now.

And Ostertag. Hopefully "canner" can be better than Tag.

Boozer is nothing compared to what he used to be. He was a star here, he's not only a roleplayer on the Bulls, but he's not even a very good role player, and he's getting paid like a star, so his team is going to be set back for years.

As for DWill, too soon to tell.

He is averaging 15 and 8 in 30 minutes. That is a pretty good role player.

Was he ever a good pick n roll player from what you have seen? It seems like the few times he has tried to do it with some of the Jazz ball handlers he has been terrible in both the pick setting and the rolling to the basket portions of the play.

He needs practise. Right now he sucks at p n roll but you have to try it a lot of times every training and 10 times every game, like Deron n Boozer did. If you do it just once in a game, then u cant really improve it a lot, in time, he will learn how to fill the space and how to roll to the basket better i believe
