Kanye MTV Rant - Do you Agree?

I listened for 2.5 minutes and not a single thing made any sense to me. "A pen, you know, like, it's ink. It's 2015 y'all. Goldie Locks and the Three Bears. You know, like."

The clip is not the whole speech. It left out the beginning part where he talks about all the backlash he got from when he interrupted Taylor Swift's acceptance speech a few years back. To be fair I agreed with him that Beyonce should have won it that year but everyone was just too polite to say anything.

That's why he's saying people should not be afraid to speak their minds, etc.

I have a subscription to Vanity Fair. That magazine usually has one article on celebrities an issue. I rarely if ever read those interviews because celebrities for the most part are insulated individuals with absolutely no sense of the real world. Mr. West is one of those insulated celebrities. While you can always learn new things from all types of folks, those occasions are few and far between among these types.

In Hollywood, do you like, get to rub shoulders with movie stars and stuff quite often? What are they really like?

I agree with a lot of it. He made some sense.

- Like the part about award shows and being made to feel like the loser when really when you're nominated, you're probably top 4-5 in your category for the industry for that whole YEAR

- Agreed that Timberlake's FutureLoveSexSound should have won Grammys that year, one of the best and most innovative Albums in recent memory, he was robbed.

- Gotta teach our kids to believe in themselves and stand up for what they believe in!!!

- Believe in TRUTH and NEW IDEASSS!!!

Thoughts?

I agree. That darned Obama ruined everything.

Forget get rubbing shoulders. You ever cross swords with a celeb?

Speaking of Avril Lavigne. I have a friend who thinks she's the hottest girl on earth (the gun at poker guy). He drove The Killers out to LA before they were famous (Lead singer is from Utah and we worked with his dad for a long time, but that wasn't the connect). Anyway, one of the band members has a prince albert piercing in his unit. They were at a restaurant that Courteney Cox (and David Arquette) were eating at. She asked one about his tats and someone said something about the piercing so she had him whip it out right there on the spot.

Showing Courteney Cox your ****. ****in rock star lifestyle.

Yeah Brandon Flowers is one of my most favourite rocker/singer/character of all time. Have always wondered if he's gay, still not sure, may be he's bi, I dunno..

I can at least say with 100% certainty that OL is a Jazz fan, he does live in NZ, and I know his name, where he works, etc..

Why he never sleeps and is infatuated with America's ****ty shows is beyond me.

I wouldn't call Judge Judy a ****ty show.... she's (still) quite entertaining.
