Plus it sounds like Hornacek was the young guys favorite coach, especially hayward. I think of it like going to work where you hate your boss (Corbin), but at least your coworker is great (Hornacek). Then your coworker gets a promotion leaving you behind. It would be pretty depressing.

It's pretty amazing. Phoenix literally has on paper the worst team I can remember. I can't think of anyone really who can say they hate Horny. That tells you something.

Well Sloan was there and I'm sure the players really liked him. Corbin must have been the fun coworker that was promoted to be your boss and then the power went to his head.

horny has no bledsoe for half the season.
yet any gm would take utahs roster over phx roster.

that means we have a btetter roster.
which means if horny was coaching(+training camp) we would have a few more wins than his suns

Exaclty, plus they only brought back like 3 players from last years team. That's one new team that Hornacek made gel together fast.
