I meant as of late
OKC: No Ibaka
Sacramento: No Cousins
Lakers: No Gasol & Young
I guess the list is even longer.....
Is it only a bad coincidence?

Nobody is afraid of the Jazz right now, and with good reason. The season is a grind and you have to rest your players when you get a chance. Young jazz players are too good not to capitalize on those situations. Tonight is a perfect example.
You rest them when you have to anyways, but it's sure easier to justify it against a team like the Jazz or 76ers.

If you're fighting for a playoff spot that doesn't make sense. Might as well rest them against teams you know you'll get killed against, like the Thunder, and get the wins that you should get, like against Utah.
I wonder though, if I was a Phoenix fan I'd be kind of annoyed this year. Fighting for the eighth seed doesn't sound quite as nice as the lottery.

I'd say it's encouraging - considering many, many people were picking Phoenix to be the worst team in the NBA this year.
Kind of like Utah in 2003-04.
