Bizarre obsession with tank has really made our fanbase lose their minds, agree with OP. Keyonte George is a revelation. We are one middling C away from being seeded for playoffs in the West. The tank-worshippers need to be thanking the heavens that Kessler got injured, or the pick being given away was a guarantee.

Everybody in this thread has collectively lost their minds. Not one GM would take Wallace over Keyonte right now even at 75% of the salary -- because they know they could get a Wallace plus mulitple assets for flipping George. WTF are we talking about right now.

fair enough -- i think your point is valid, i just think that Donovan's success will always be in the context of one of the best defensive anchors the league has ever seen. It'll forever be difficult to compare the success of the two players unless Keyonte plays with someone of Gobert's calibre.

I think seeing ppl say they'd rather have Cason Wallace just made my brains spill out of my ears.

We might be doing a similar thread for Flip next year. I just think he needs to get stronger and more explosive which is very doable. A front court of Kessler Flip and Markkanen could be lethal along with a further progressed Key and a stronger Ace with improved handles. For we know all of our court pieces may be in place just need to build upon other role players.

I subscribe to the theory of quantity over quality when it comes to draft picks.

Accumulate a bunch, and you can land on enough of them without needing to tank. The list of stars who weren't top 5 picks is bottomless.
