It's been his comp since before the college season startedLeif Touline was the first who coined that comparison about 2 months before the draft.
In hindsight he was right.

Keep that in mind for the Keynote George nickname thread. We calling Keyonte "Saint George"?
By Leif? Or others too? It's been his comp since before the college season started

Oh true.. I’ve just heard it from Leif. Great dude btw.By everyone
He might be. Kind of depends on what the goals are for this year. So far, he’s looked the part - maybe they give him the opportunity and see what he does with it.He's our starting PG
It would be criminal if he doesn’t start. He might be. Kind of depends on what the goals are for this year. So far, he’s looked the part - maybe they give him the opportunity and see what he does with it.
I don't disagree, but I suspect Dunn will probably get the starting nod with George getting meaningful minutes (I'm rioting if George does not play some time at the start of the season, barring injury). George will probably take over at some point during the season unless Dunn just knocks it out of the park.It would be criminal if he doesn’t start.
No, why would we?We calling Keyonte "Saint George"?
Or maybe it's because the coach thinks he's better off the bench. No need to drag the law into this. Besides what legal statute could possible govern who starts on a basketball team?It would be criminal if he doesn’t start.
