What's new

King helps push car out of the snow.

I KNEW it was Abdullah II as soon as I saw the title. I think he is a genuinely great guy. Just look at all of those refuges that Jordan allows in every time there is a crisis in the Middle East (all the time). It is more impressive when you consider that Jordan is a pretty poor country.

On a related note, 30 years ago or so, my mom worked as a flight attendant for Jordan's main airlines, and she met with Abdullah one time while he was on his way back from England (he was a prince then). He started flirting with my mom, and on his way out, he asked for her phone number. She agreed, and they ended up going out on a couple of dates. In the end, she decided to end it as she considered his personality "too Western" for her. :(

Nice story - see you could have been a prince if your mom had been less conservative:)

Actually, I would have not existed. What a great loss that would have been to the world.
