Watched the beginning of game 1.
So far, I've seen two terrible calls and one flop.
1. Divac gets away with a 5 step travel.
2. Shaq gets away with a foul on Bibby layup attempt.
3. Christie flopping to draw a questionable foul on Fox.
lakers are playing MUCH better than Kings to start game 1 so far.

Dude, what is your problem? Why did you need to start an entirely new thread for this, especially in the Utah Jazz section of this forum?

God, please end this lockout post haste.

Off the top of my head, the U.S.-U.S.S.R. basketball gold medal game in the '72 Olympics and Roy Jones gold medal fight in the '88 Olympics were far worse robberies.

I don't think the Kings were robbed at all. I'd say that the robbery that year was the robbery of the Jazz in the first round by the Kings.
I'd be happy to discuss it in the General NBA forum.

Watched the beginning of game 1.
The "robbery" portion of the series took place in the 2nd-half of Game 4 (in which the Kings had a 20-point 2nd-qtr lead) and Game 6 (with the Lakers facing elimination. IMO the rest of the series was officiated fairly evenly (including Game 7) and I would argue the Lakers were on the receiving end of some very questionable fouls when Pollard and Vlade flopped against Shaq in Game 2. Even though Sacramento lost fair and square in Game 7 - the Kings should've won in 6 games.

Robbery was the 3 successive playoff appearances against the Lakers after the WCF appearance for the Jazz.

If I recall even Ralph Nader of all people urged David Stern to investigate the officiating after the Game 6. It seems to me one of the officials in Game 6 was point shaving prison boy.

If Vlade Divac grabs a rebound instead of tapping it to Robert Horry, the Kings win and this is a non-issue.

If Stockton makes one more shot Jordans pushoff doesn't matter. SO WHAT?

If the refs hadnt ripped the Kings, then Divacs tip at the end wouldn't have mattered.
To say an OBVIOUS biased ref job is ok because the other team didn't outplay the refs is stupid, sorry.
