Yeah let's do it.
Might have to trade up a bit from #12 though.. but Jazz would be one of the teams that can wait a bit considering KOC's job security is pretty solid.

Well, it would give the Jazz more time to decide what to do with Millsap and Jefferson.
Is that is a good thing?
Would agree on taking JV at 12 if we take Knight at 3, however the Cavs at 4 are still considering him and apparently the Bucks really like JV as well. Would he also slip past Golden State?
He won't be available at 12 in most scenarios.
If we were sure JV was going to slip to 12 I would pull the trigger on Drafting Knight. But like NCJazz just said I don't think JV slips that far. But IMO that would be a perfect draft for us. We still get our big with potential (alot of teams are still not sure who is better between him and Kanter). Plus we get Knight.

Knight plus a big at 12 makes the most draft sense. The 12 then becomes the Biyombo/JV dream, a guy like T Thompson maybe, or a trade down (my preference being Mirotic.) A Kanter/Fredette draft is a lot riskier. No way to get any read on Kanter, and the PG/Wing talent at 12 isn't good enough to warrant the pick.
i forget which Jazz front office person said it, but we apparently have a lot more game footage of him then most people would think is available. i think we probably have about as good an idea about what type of NBA player he will be as we do Knight.
