Kobe wants to mentor Exum

anyone who doesnt want his pre-draft comp (many compared their body types, potential, etc. before he found his home here), who happens to be a HOF player, and an NBA alpha, to talk/work with Exum is certifiably insane.

So what? Every play ran through him. He was practically the point guard, with Fisher averaging something like 2.5 AST a game. So Kobe's 5 AST is not exactly a monument for teamwork.

One could only hope that Exum becomes a player we can run every play through. IMO giving him every opportunity to learn to assert himself outweighs any alleged chuckerism.

I don't disagree. Nor am I disputing Kobe's status as a world class baller. I am simply putting his 5 AST average into context. Kobe is many things, but a team player is not one of those things.

I see that it has not occurred to anyone on here that he might be trying to guide Exum in the Laker's direction for later down the road. My first thought on the subject.

Kobe is Legendary in his workouts ,if he can show Exum the mental approach to his secret, whatever Exum's ceiling is maybe he will be able to attain it with Kobe's guidance.

paranoia much ... seriously, for 6 years down the road at the earliest ??

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

The art of chucking. Dante joins the Dark Side.

Exum was 412th (of 492) in usage pct league-wide last season. He was the anti-chucker. He did nothing on the offensive end of the court, all season long. I don't think you have too much to worry about.
