Totally agree. My initial post was in response to those who thought perhaps Millsap or Jefferson, or anyone else they want on the team, were not a part of the "core" that KOC wanted to move forward with.

Oh my good hell. I fear reading the rest of this thread because someone might prove that this is true, that KOC really called this the core. Included Bell. No Sap or Jefferson. What in the hell.
 
All he's talkin' about with "the only guy that's significant that plays that we don't have back next year is Andrei. " is guys who will be free agents after this season. He's not talking about cutting anybody whose contract runs past this season. Kirilenko, Miles, Price, Fesenko, Elson, Watson all expire at seasons end.
No idea what the full context of this conversation was, so not gonna get too overly stimulated about it...

Well that's SLIGHTLY better. His defending Raja Bell's defense is utter nonsense though, Bell's been a piece of crap defender all year.
Interesting comment on AK. Also wonder if this means that Miles is going to be picked up.
 
Whoa! I think a bunch of us are getting a bit flusterated for no reason. The reason Bell is part of the core is because no one in their right mind will take him, and you don't want to have him play even worse on purpose and with his fat contract Utah is married to him. Al and Paul didn't really need to be mentioned as it's already figured that anyone with even a modicum of intelligence knows already. I mean, did you really expect him to name the entire cast except fess, and Price? Gees people, relax, it gets worse until draft day.
 
The tweet says that the core includes Favors and Hayward. Someone misrepresented the tweet. Most of the posts insinuating other things here are making a big deal about nothing.
 
Pretty boilerplate KOC if you ask me. Lot of talking and I'm hearing nothing. Deron Williams got traded. That's all anyone needs to know that nobody on the roster is safe and everyone can be had for a price.
