SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The NBA released the last two minute report and said the officials made two incorrect calls in the Jazz loss to the Lakers.

The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Utah Jazz 127-115 in overtime on Saturday afternoon but the NBA officials made two incorrect calls in the last two minutes of regulation.
In the last two minute report that the NBA sent out, the first incorrect call was with 1:53 left in the fourth quarter when Kentavious Caldwell-Pope attacked the basket. Jazz forward Ersan Ilyasova attempted to take a charge but it was called a blocking foul. Utah had a three-point lead at the time but was up by just one after Caldwell-Pope made two free throws. The NBA said the call was wrong and should’ve been a charge.
“Ilyasova (UTA) beats Caldwell-Pope (LAL) to the spot and establishes himself in a legal guarding position prior to Caldwell-Pope initiating contact,” the last two minute report read.
Just moments later, Dennis Schroeder made a layup with 1:15 left to put the Lakers up by one point. The NBA said that Schroeder should’ve been called for an offensive foul.
“Schroder (LAL) uses his left hand to ward off Ilyasova’s (UTA) left arm and affects Ilyasova’s ability to contest the driving shot attempt,” the report read.
The rest of the calls or no-calls in the final two minutes were correct, according to the NBA.
After reaching overtime, the Lakers outscored the Jazz 17-5 in the extra period to pick up the win. Utah was without Donovan Mitchell, Rudy Gobert, Derrick Favors and Mike Conley. Los Angeles was without LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
