lol IT out until all star break.

celtics GM danny ainge is a swindling SOB. I gotta hand it to this guy. He broke off broklyn nets like no other, has a winning team, and now he ripped the cavs off by giving them damaged goods.

The real asset in that deal was the Nets pick. They may very well be able to trade that for an all-star caliber player by the trade deadline, along with some players to match salaries. If IT is able to come back 100% before the playoffs and the cavs can trade for another star player, they make out like bandits in this trade.

I think it all comes down to what you believe Kyrie Irving is. If you think / if he proves to be a 30 ppg scorer, facilitates and plays a little defense and becomes a top 10 superstar then sure, Celtics found their guy and win.

Count me in the group who thinks he's a terrific scorer but flawed who won't lead a team to the top and the Celtics gutted their depth, soul and toughness and that the Cavs got significant help for LeBron / insurance if he leaves and comfortably come out on top.
