In talking with Ty Corbin it's fairly clear that he feels his team has already started packing for free agency.

Al Jefferson said he feels like Corbin has done everything he can do. It's on the players now, and he's not confident they can make a run.

GO JAZZ!!!

If Corbin has done everything he can do, he's not capable of very much. How about giving Caroll, Burks, and Kanter more playing time. More often than not, they make a positive impact. You can't say that about the majority of the veterans.

If the FAs already have a foot out the door then what harm does it do to put their *** on the bench?

"We can't get the games back that we lost," Corbin said. "We're going to lay everything we have out there for 12 games and see what happens. We're not going to lay down. We're going to fight and scratch for every little thing we can get and see where it ends up."

Uh... about that...

Gotta love Corbin. FAs have already started packing for the summer, but let's continue to play them all big minutes. Makes sense!

Can somebody tell me how this works for Utah? Do Millsap and Big Al's contracts expire before the league allow the teams to trade again so that they can be traded for 1st round picks and a point guard and a back up center-power forward to play behind Enes and Derrick?

I've read in an article that the Jazz wouldn't feel bad even if Sap and Al went as FA's, so I'm worried about they'll go for free. In a way, that would still be good since we could see the real talent on the floor finally.

Because they're vets and they deserve our help in obtaining a big new contract. Ty was in the same place a few times. He's just trying to do them a solid.

The draft happens before FA occurs. The only way a sign-and-trade could occur in that manner is for Team B to trade us the draft rights to a player they drafted. Sign and trades aren't going to be that common under the new CBA. The ONLY thing we're getting for Big Al and Paul is cap space. We will lose them for nothing. But that is better than being saddled with an equally worthless vet for another year. That was the chance KOC took in trading Devin Harris and his expiring deal for Marvin Williams. It was a good gamble, IMO, but one which the Jazz lost. In this case, it won't hurt much because Marvin comes off the books before the Jazz have to pay Kanter and Burks. They have enough money for Favors and Hayward.

Fortunately, Mo and Randy are signed to 1-yr deals. I'd rather not see either of those two return. Foye has shown he can't last an entire season and Mo is a chucker. I'm actually the most disappointed by Mo. I really thought coming to Utah would net great results.

Thank you. So I guess the Jazz won't be able to trade them during their current contracts at the end of the season. Am I right?

yep if they were going to trade them they would have had to done it before the trade deadline... That's why it makes no sense in my mind to give them any minutes ... if anything we should be not showing other teams what they can do

Why not? By showing the league what they can do we may be driving their price down. Wait a minute. **** please don't be doing this Jazz, we don't want them back at any price.
