Las Vegas Summer League Game Thread: July 11th - Utah Jazz vs. Miami Heat 7:30 PM PST

Lyles might have the most bland on-camera personality I've ever seen though.
After the Kanter fiasco, DL probably prefers a player who is ok with coming off the bench. Lyles fits that profile. I think Lyles will be ok as a backup. His shots aren't falling, but they're on line. Weird FT's, though. Maybe it's just nerves.

Quin has a lot of flexibility in terms of minutes. If Pleiss is a stud, then Favors plays all his minutes at PF and we only see Booker/Lyles for 15 mins/per. If Pleiss has trouble adjusting to the NBA, Favors slides over to the 5 when Gobert rests and Booker and Lyles play more minutes. Trey has no pressure on him this season. He can develop in practice and play garbage minutes in games.

Anyone noticed how strikingly similar Trey Lyles' Free Throw action/process is to Deron Williams?

If he needed hip surgery don't u think GS would hold him out of something as unimportant as SL?

I thought the issue with him during the draft was that he would likely be out 9-12 months because of a hip surgery.. hence teams being too scared to draft him.
