The Mavs are trying to trade their 2010 first round pick Dominique Jones (presumably for a draft pick) to clear up a roster spot and give them more time to make a decision on Delonte West. They haven't had any luck so far, so it seems likely that West will be waived by the roster submission deadline.

Interesting. Looks like it was pretty much the Vet bench guys they let go. Still a $5 million hit. Its like they spent there mid level and got no one for it. Ouch
