^^^ really nice mack, pics don't do it justice. Probably around 20 inches. I have caught many bigger fish but have never had a fish fight so hard.
I hooked into this one really far out from shore in VERY deep water. For the first few minutes I thought I had a huge snag and was reeling in a log little by little. When it got closer to shore it really started fighting and was taking line out. (I had my drag set pretty tight and he still pulled line out) Amazing fight to get him to shore.
Then when I was trying to hold the fish for the picture, it was SO strong and I had a really hard time getting a handle on it.

I saw this grouse sitting on a tree stump and I sent rex after it. He scared it into some low branches of a tree and I went to take this picture and I was actually petting it and it just sat there. really weird, dumb, bird
