I thought we have such a a thread already, but yes, he is moving currently really well which makes it even easier to playmakerä for him but also opens room for the young guys as they are putting two guys after him so frequently.
For me, it seems obvious that Jazz is currently trying to maximize both Walker's and Lauri's output as well. The other has a new contract coming up, and Lauri is possibly an awkward fit for the timeline, depending on whatever is their plan - my prediction is they will at most trade one of these two, depending the offers they'll have (Jazz don't have to trade both to preserve the tank, that isn't a thing officially, but which really will be a thing).
Let's keep fingers crossed he won't get any hard hits on hip or back bc last season it took awsy a lot from his movement and they also tried to force a square piece in a round hole by going for more tough shots to take. It wasn't good for his value or confidence, but it might pay off this season too. His ball handling isn't still at the level I envisioned few seasons ago it could become, but his midrange shots off the dribble seems more effortless they have usually been.
The biggest wish I'll be having is we'd see more playmaking games from him, like in the season opener. That will be a lot dependant on how much of ball pressure opponents will put on the team, because regardless of some good traits, there's not many really good ball handlers in our wings and centers, so the big to big plays won't come so easy, if teams plan against it much better than Clippers did.
