I think Trump believes his voters are determined and his opposition is lazy.

This is why he is attacking mail-in-voting. He thinks lazy people use mail-in-voting and determined old racists get their asses to the poles.

Don't be a lazy voter. Not this year.

Don't use the USPS if they can't be trusted. Use a drop box.

I shall vote in person covid be damned.

I’d recommend voting asap. This is what’s happening around the country. “Very legal and very cool“ I’m sure...

No, he’s saying it because there has definitely been voter fraud in the past.

Dead people voting. Republicans getting ballots with just Democrats on it. 20% of ballots thrown out in a city.

I read about a post office worker getting ballots for an apartment complex for people who haven’t lived there in years. Ballots being thrown in the trash in plain site.

What could go wrong am I right? On top of it all I use USPS a lot and let me tell you they have a lot of issues with delivering mail on time right now.

After the 2016 election, Donald created a commission headed by Kris Kobach to investigate allegations of voter fraud. That commission, created by Donald and headed by a Donald boot licker found:

The now-disbanded voting integrity commission launched by the Trump administration uncovered no evidence to support claims of widespread voter fraud, according to an analysis of administration documents released Friday.

Facts matter. The nonsense you’re repeating is fake news.

My wife and I use USPS nearly everyday. We have no complaints. But if there are concerns about USPS handling mail in voting, wouldn’t it make sense to add mailboxes and increase funding rather than ripping out mailboxes and defunding?

And being the Trumper that you are, I’m sure you won’t react like a rational person and admit that you’re wrong. You’ll double down on your anecdotal false claims and insist that voter fraud is widespread. You may even include a link to an unrelated story and explain how it proves you’re right. So predictable.

Do you think I just made all of that up or do you think the people are lying? Is it fake news someone made up for a story?

Trust me, I use USPS probably 10x the amount you do. I’m in contact with hundreds of people who do as well. There is a widespread problem right now because of a huge influx of mail.

I think it’s definitely possible that you’re poorly informed and/or just a ****** person who embellishes and lies for political reasons.

But the facts are that Trump already organized a commission to find voter fraud and it didn’t find any.

Sure, because there are a ton of new things going through it. For example, a bunch of pharmacies are offering free mailing of prescriptions - mine is one of those. At the beginning of the pandemic, it took them about 2 days to get across town. Now that the Post Office has fired a bunch of people, denied overtime, removed sorting machines, and changed the policies on when carriers have to leave the PO, it's taking a full week. And Oregon hasn't even started mailing voter pamphlets or ballots. So this idea that there's a huge influx because of mail-in voting is ludicrous on the face of it.

The huge influx is not because of mail-in voting nor did I say that. The thing is it will add to the existing issue.

Which makes getting rid of mailboxes and defunding USPS so much more criminal.
No, don't you see, the thing to do when there's more demand is to remove resources. That's just business 101, as taught by Trump. Look at how successful his casinos are, they're the number one casino brand in the world. And it's very difficult to make money in casinos.

Im sure @White Chocolate will refute what you have to say with evidence and a well thought out argument... /s

What is causing the issue? Is it that Trump's donor, I mean, Postmaster is deliberately sabotaging the system, as Trump admitted?

The issue is people are at home ordering stuff 24/7. USPS not hiring more people, getting rid of sorting machines, etc. They are ran horribly I don’t know how they are always on the brink of losing money.

Hang on. I've been taken as a given that mail has increased this year. Turns out, it's decreased. A lot.

So your idea when something isnt working properly is to make it worse instead of better. Doesnt make much sense to me.
