Lazy Voters

It's not video, it's audio, and if you just click on the link, you can read the article.

I assume you have citations to show that packages have gone up?

People at home bored collecting unemployment plus a stimulus check equals them buying items online. Very basic stuff.

The issue is people are at home ordering stuff 24/7. USPS not hiring more people, getting rid of sorting machines, etc. They are ran horribly I don’t know how they are always on the brink of losing money.

So Trump’s lobbyist friend is leading the USPS and is currently getting rid of sorting machines and making the Post Office completely inoperable might be doing it on purpose? What a shock.

But why would Trump want to destroy USPS? Let’s see what Trump said about this...

It’s not hard to see what’s going on. Trump admits to the crimes he’s committing usually while he’s committing them. He’s purposely trying to suppress the vote in the hopes of squeaking out an electoral college victory.

No, he’s saying it because there has definitely been voter fraud in the past.

Dead people voting.

Sometimes, someone votes as someone else with the same name, because of confusion, not fraud.

Republicans getting ballots with just Democrats on it.

Someone has lied to you about this. There were some people who only got forms to register for the Democratic primary instead of the Republican primary, but they were not ballots.

20% of ballots thrown out in a city.

Most of them because they weren't signed or because the person who mailed them didn't fill out a form properly. Again, very little fraud.

I read about a post office worker getting ballots for an apartment complex for people who haven’t lived there in years. Ballots being thrown in the trash in plain site.

So, not used in election fraud.

What could go wrong am I right? On top of it all I use USPS a lot and let me tell you they have a lot of issues with delivering mail on time right now.

Lots can go wrong, but very little does.

As far as voter fraud as it is commonly considered: Yes, there are cases on record, but it's much rarer now than it used to be.

One obvious reason is that we have computers now, as you may have noticed.

Another reason is that, simply, it's not worth it for a national election. The amount of effort it takes to fraudulently cast a single vote is immense when you compare it with the return, and to get millions is just about impossible. Far easier and more effective to suppress the votes you DON'T want, and lie to the public to get them to change the way they vote. You know, like Trump is doing.

Also, Democratic candidates don’t have as much of a motive to cheat. Their positions are overwhelmingly more mainstream nationally than Republican. Republicans are actively trying to suppress to vote. They have the most to gain by committing voter fraud because their positions and candidates are increasingly seen as out of touch with mainstream America.

It just doesn’t make sense for the party with popular support to cheat. They have much more to lose by being caught cheating than The marginalized and the party desperate To cling to power.

Trust me, I use USPS probably 10x the amount you do. I’m in contact with hundreds of people who do as well. There is a widespread problem right now because of a huge influx of mail.

Yes, because Trump has taken hundreds of mail sorting machines out of the system. Jesus Christ, how can anyone support what he's doing? The guy is an utter steaming pile of ****. Seriously, WC, you don't need to get woke. That side of the aisle needs a ****ing reality check too. But Jesus, how the **** do you not see what he is doing? The number of people he's brought on staff who've been convicted of crimes. The **** he says or tweets. The number of people he's hired who are completely incompetent and unqualified. A million ****ing things and now this. It's blatantly obvious what he's doing. Read a ****ing book. Wake the **** up. Do some ****ing thing.

When a person starts a sentence with ‘Trust me’ or ‘Believe me’, the practical advice I’d give is to do the exact opposite.

So while Trump is dismantling the post office in a blatant attempt to swing the election in his favor, Nancy Pelosi created the hash tag #dontmesswiththeUSPS right before going on vacation.

Believe me, everyone should follow this advice. Trust me, it is absolutely spot on.

Thank you for the wonderful insight. I have so much incentive to lie about using USPS to win an argument online against people I don’t personally know on a Jazz site. You’re smart.

I’m not stupid. I do enjoy debating a lot and will debate people about just about anything. It is very fun to me. On some real **** though read below:

Trump is EXTREMELY dumb for trying to go after the post office. That’s just something you don’t and can’t do. If he is ordering all of those drop boxes to get picked up for no reason other than to slow down the mail and overwork the post office even more that is a very bad offense.

The country relies on and needs the post office. People getting meds through the mail, maybe your local store is out of formula and you have to order it online for your baby? Then what?

I did some research, read some comments on here and came to the conclusion that it actually would be extremely hard to rig the election through vote-in mail. I read a post office employee say there was 50+ ballots in the trash at an apartment complex to use as an example as voter fraud.

Then I really thought about it, what are people gonna do? They really want to screw over Trump so bad they’re going to risk doing something illegal and rig a couple ballots that could get thrown out anyways for a couple votes that wouldn’t even make a difference AT ALL in the grand scheme of things.

That is just one instance and it’s been very small cases of ballots being thrown out for being invalid. Guess what those don’t count. News flash Trump invalid ballots don’t count.

Don’t you think if rigging the election was possible it would have been done in 2016? Trump didn’t even win the popular vote.

In the end I think Trump knows his supporters are die hards with blinders on. All of the Trump supporters I know will literally praise him for anything he says. Like literally dude could say I think everyone’s taxes should increase for the **** of it and they’d be like hell yeah let’s do it! He knows they will be at the polls regardless of coronavirus precautions.

What he thinks is people who aren’t going to vote for him won’t go out and vote so he’s doing anything he can to prevent them from voting mail-in ballots while being safe at home.

Which is illegal right? It has to be.

So in conclusion with sabotaging the post office and sabotaging mail-in ballots that is two very illegal offenses is it not?

Lastly, I think Trump knows the end could be near and is using this mail-in vote fraud propaganda as a fall back excuse if he loses. Yes, he really is that full of himself that he would do all of this just to have an excuse for why he lost.

I would LOVE some responses and conversation about this. This is what I truly believe and would love to hear others thoughts.

My only comment is, wow, good on you for this and thanks for some info I hadn't heard yet.

Not sure why you are taking that as a slight against yourself. It’s a dig at Trump as he says this all the time about everything and why it loses its meaning.

When you make more on unemployment than your regular job I’d say you’d have extra money to spend? Right, smart one?

I’d say employers need to step up their salaries. Especially after getting the tax handouts that this administration has been touting for years. I mean, wasn’t giving a bunch of rich people tax cuts supposed to help workers eventually? Or were we just fed a line just like we’re always fed when republicans slash taxes for the rich?

If people are making more money off unemployment then the private sector in our nation needs to step up its game. Unemployment checks just like food stamps, aren’t as lucrative as Fox News makes it out to be.

I agree 100%. People were getting an extra $600 per week on top of regular unemployment. Just the extra $600 a week is more than the majority of people make where I live. That comes out to $15 per hour if you were to work 40 hours a week on just the extra money. Arizona’s minimum wage is $12 per hour.
