What's new

Lesson learned from previous drafts (First round only)

Lessons from Jazz past: Don't pick the sliding big. Jazz got burned by Ortiz, Wright, Borchard, and to some extent Koufus who were all projected higher, then 'fell' to the jazz.

Lesson #2 from Jazz past: Don't draft a sg. Jazz either draft a guy like Quincy Lewis or Snyder who don't last, or draft a guy like Brewer or Stevenson who can play a little but everyone views as a stop gap and is never seen as a real player.

Lesson #3 from Jazz past: Send scott layden on vaction now, bring him back when the draft is over.

Repped, and Lesson 3 was my favorite!
