So HOWARD I'm going to do it? Well, by doing a Derrick Favors, Dwight Howard comparison thread.
Only doing first year Howard to first year Favors.

Some notables from that link. Per 36, they scored near the same and blocked shots near the same. Howard rebounded better and had better stats across the board. Had a 17.2-13.9 edge in PER.
But wait, there's more to the story. I couldn't do a comparison just to the Jazz' portion of Favors' rookie year, so I'll post comparisons here along with Favors' BR page.

Let's get PER out of the way. 17.2-16.8. Looks nice, don't it?
Now look at the per 36. 14.6-13.2 points, 2.2-1.7 blocks, 1.5-1.0 assists. All in Favors, uh, favor. Now, Favors rebounded a half rebound less per 36 for the Jazz than the Nets, but rebound percentage tells us that half rebound loss comes solely on the offensive glass.
Concerning percentages, 54.5-57.1 TS% for Howard, 52.9-52.0 eFG% for Favors. Favors also turned the ball over way less in Utah than in New Jersey.
Concluding, Favors, in Utah, played quite comparatively to Howard's rookie season, the only big difference was Favors rebounding noticeably lower than Howard.
Kind of makes you giddy inside thinking about it.
