Let the Jeff Withey Era Begin!

Favors should get 0 minutes at the 5 once Rudy returns. Save the back!
The guy who needs to sit is Booker since he has NO future on the team. Trade him in a package or for a 2nd round pick.

Gobert 30/Withey 18 (Pleiss garbage mins)
Favors 30/Lyles 18 (sign Dleaguer)
 
Whithy is still young as far as total minutes played and still developing. Unlike Rudy, I think he has a chance to develop his midrang game and be a much better offensive player then Rudy will ever be. Id like to see the Jazz lock him up before he costs too much. Not sure when they can do this. This is why I was so excited when the Jazz signed him.
 
Id prefer we limit Favs and Gobert to 30-32 max minutes, in the interests of longevity and injury management(save their knees, backs). Having Withey get all the backup C minutes and Lyles all the PF backup minutes is fine by me.
Bookers grabbed some big rebounds in the last couple of games, but long term and future wise FO see Lyles part of the long term outlook.
I would also love to see Withey locked up long term, he's earned himself a job
 
I liked Withey the first time I saw him in the exhibition season -- I had never seen him play before. I was surprised that he wasn't getting any minutes at the start of the season. But he sure has earned himself a place on the team now.
 
I think Favors should play no minutes at center once Rudy is back. Booker or Lyles play backup pf minutes. At very least Withey has become a tradeable asset in the Ish Smith ilk.
